Sarah is an accomplished CFO with international experience across diverse industries including media, wholesale / distribution, primary, energy and retail. Her current governance roles include over three years in a medium-sized SOE, in addition to a household name charity where she serves on the New Zealand board. While much of her experience has been gained in large multinationals managing significant projects and teams of people, Sarah is able to successfully alternate between a high level strategic perspective and hands on task management with ease as required. Her achievements are numerous within organisations with complex stakeholder engagement and across multiple disciplines which demonstrate pragmatism, leadership, and the ability to navigate relationships with ease. She is particularly passionate about projects with a change management focus in addition to furthering her governance experience.
John is a business development specialist blended with mainstream CFO competencies acquired across various sectors including chartered accounting, manufacturing, not for profit, financial services, and health. John is distinguished by his pragmatism and passion for driving business improvement initiatives that enhance organisational value. He enjoys sharing his knowledge / mentoring and his style encourages participation by creating and facilitating outcomes. John's breadth of experience enables him to "parachute in" to any situation and hit the ground running, building credible relationships and delivering on the critical activities in a timely fashion.
Hamish is an experienced CFO and Director having worked in significant high profile companies in the food and beverage manufacturing sector including public listed entities. He is comfortable driving enhanced bottom line performance in companies with international presence and his significant private sector experience is complimented by involvement in local body government. Hamish's achievements demonstrate commercial nous which is blended with sound governance and exposure in international organisations of scale. His undergraduate qualification is complimented by an MBA from Auckland University where he was top of class. He is a member of the Institute of Directors as well as a member of the New Zealand Association of Economists.
Geoff is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK, and is close to finishing his Chartered Secretarial qualification in New Zealand. Having graduated in bio chemistry in the UK, he completed a Masters of Applied Finance (Treasury Management) in New Zealand. Clients can expect Geoff to combine a genuine hands-on approach with his extremely strong academic understanding of corporate governance and risk management. Far from working in the abstract, Geoff has applied this knowledge both as a CFO and later as a Director of a significant New Zealand corporate in the pastoral science and security sector and currently holds two other Directorships. Geoff approaches business improvement initiatives with pragmatism and is grounded in the way he engages with the business and people working in it. He is currently based in the Waikato but will soon be moving to Northland where he and his wife own a lifestyle block. Geoff has expressed interest in assisting medium sized NZ companies in growth mode challenged by the complexities of interest and foreign currency hedging, his area of specialisation.
Tim lives in the Auckland area and is a CFO with significant experience in leading finance teams of prominent financial services companies in both NZ and overseas. His successes include performing due diligences and valuations of targeted acquisitions and structuring finance teams so they achieve optimal performance. He has also had extensive experience in business excellence and balanced scorecard reporting. Tim is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant which is a recognised international qualification.
Murray is based on Auckland’s North Shore and is a high profile CFO and company Director with prestigious NZ organisations. His experience extends across nine industries, including financial services, fast-moving consumer goods, information technology and manufacturing. He has extremely strong financial management skills and well developed business acumen and he is able to both create and execute strategy having completed business turn arounds and implemented innovative restructuring to improve profitability and cash flow. He is a Chartered Accountant and graduate from Auckland University.
Daniel is a Waikato based business advisor and chartered accountant with experience within the livestock, manufacturing and professional services industries complimented by “not for profit” engagements. Having initially worked in the UK for a prestigious leading chartered accounting practice as their Senior Management Accountant, his subsequent roles in the commercial sector blended responsibilities for financial stewardship and management information. It is clear that Daniel has a sound understanding of ERP systems and internal controls and ‘rolls up his sleeves’ to get the job done. Daniel can lead and manage the Finance function, while identifying opportunities for improvement. His collaborative style, combined with his systems and process experience make him an ideal choice for project work.
Andrea is based on Auckland’s North Shore and has qualifications in tax and commerce consultancy. Her experience comprises an interesting blend of chartered accounting and roles in commerce with NZ and German household names. Her highly tuned technical skills, and her ability to analyse and improve procedures to further efficiency in the operating arena are complimented by well rounded interpersonal skills, yet she is very task-orientated, and meets deadlines with ease. Andrea has run her own business demonstrating commercial acumen at a time when the world economy was in melt down and has survived the experience.
Mukesh is an East Auckland based NZ Chartered Accountant (CA), who also holds a Chartered Certified qualification from the UK and a Cost accounting qualification from India. In Mukesh, you are getting an articulate finance professional with a skill set that encompasses accounting system implementations, financial accounting expertise (including statutory accounting and audit preparation), business information, and successes in working across the broader shared services as well as leading commercial initiatives. His academic success extend to a broad practical application and understanding of cost behaviour in business and how best to maximise margin and therefore shareholder value. Mukesh’s experience includes work in the following sectors: Distribution of paper / packaging products, manufacturing, import, engineering and services. Mukesh is a very capable Financial Controller who believes in strong systems disciplines and using Excel to extract information from ERP systems. He is an experienced user of Dynamics AX/ Greentree ERP.
Tony is the founding Principal of Dial a CFO and resides on Auckland's North Shore. He is an accomplished CFO, and Director and has significant business improvement experience across multiple sectors including Utililities / Infrastructure, Information Technology / Communications, Wholesale / Distribution including project management experience within global transformation projects. Tony's personal mantra is "question - challenge-change" and he applies this philisophy in both his personal and professional life. Tony is currently engaged in the Auckland super city project and devotes his spare time to working on the business with the Dial leadership team that share this responsibility.
