Client Fees

Dial is excellent value for money compared with alternatives. The cost of using the Dial service comprises two parts: Associate remuneration and the Dial's engagement fee.

Associate remuneration is agreed directly between you and the Associate, normally an hourly or daily rate, invoiced by the Associate supported by a timesheet and paid to the Associate direct. Our senior Associates work at a skill and experience level comparable to Partners in a multinational Chartered Accounting firm at about one third of the cost.

We are often asked to explain how we can offer a better service at a significantly lower cost.  The answer lies in how we structure our business. The Dial philosophy is about extracting value on every dollar spent that enhances both our Client and Associate experience - meaning we are early adopters of smart technologies that enable communication and avoid fixed overheads where possible. This enables us to remain nimble and proactive in providing a more streamlined service.

Dial’s engagement fee can be structured in one of two ways.

Either a:

 Defined Project Fee.  This is appropriate for a single Associate contracted for an agreed level of activity over a defined period of time. It is a fixed one-off  fee paid direct to Dial a CFO to cover selection and vetting of Associates and managing the engagement, including a de-brief at the conclusion of the work. For shorter assignments, this is paid up front or alternatively invoiced evenly over longer term engagements;

Or a:

Dial Subscription. The Dial a CFO subscription service provides greater value where Client requirements are longer term or where more than one Associate may be required. The fixed monthly subscription gives unrestricted access to either an individual Dial Associate (single sub) , or the entire Dial Associate pool (multi sub) , subject to availability.

For example, if you were to source a Business Analyst ten days per month, a CFO five days per month and a Non-executive Board Director one day per month on-going, the subscription option would be less expensive than pricing each of these as independent engagements.

When using temporary resource through an Agency, the Client has no visibility of the fees element, however typically this margin exceeds 30% and continues to be paid on every hour charged. As hours increase as they invariably do due to peak workload, the Client pays more and when the engagement period is extended as is often the case, the Client pays more again.

The Dial engagement fee is fixed at the outset and would only be revised in the event that the base engagement parameters proved to be fundamentally different.
